About Angelica Barlis

A communication professional with five (5) years experience in crafting and implementing marketing and communication strategies for the agricultural, rural and research-for-development industry in the Philippines and in Asia. Specifically involved in an International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)-funded project on root and tuber crops for food security in Asia Pacific region. IFAD is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) dedicated to eradicate rural poverty in developing countries. The project is implemented by the International Potato Center, one of the research centers under the CGIAR. At the same time, I'm taking up master's degree on Development Management and Governance specializing in Program Management.
