Prior to joining IFPRI, I worked for the Cornell International Institute for Food, Agriculture, and Development (CIIFAD) in managing a research portal on soil quality and served for three years in the Peace Corps in Honduras as an agricultural extensionist. I hold a Masters degree in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University and a B.A. in Sociology from Hamilton College.
