About Peter J Bury

Living off and online in Zola Predosa, Emilia-Romagna, Italy since 2006 together with Lucia busy exporting Italy's luxury goods. My two daughters live in Amsterdam, I consider myself a true cosmopolitan European of Swiss and Dutch (really a mix of Belgium and German) origins. I roamed the tropics for 15 years with my first wife Mariella and daughters, before settling into the Water Sanitation and Hygiene sector in 1996 at IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, The Hague. Since 2002 I do this part-time from Italy. I joint KM4Dev somewhere around 2004 and its core-group around 2007. Other activities involve estate management and managing my mother's life; presiding and sitting in boards of Slow Food; the Associazione Culturale Italia - Olanda - Fiandre in Bologna and; the Circolo Svizzero Bologna. I'm intrigued by social communication and how doing this brakes or makes interaction among humans on this increasingly small global village.
