Knowledge for Development: Global Partnership Conference 2017
Introduction
The Knowledge for Development: Global Partnership Conference 2017 is scheduled to be held in Geneva (CH) from 3-4 April at the Palais des Nations, E-Building Room XXIV. You are welcome to participate on social media #K4D2017Geneva. KM4Dev'rs and others interested should be aware that our community will use the opportunity to organize a KM4Dev get together KM4Dev2017Geneva on the Sunday 2 April before. You are welcome to join in as of now on social media with #KM4Dev2017Geneva.
Social reporting and online involvement
Stay informed before during and after. Interested people, whether or not registered as members of the KM4Dev global community of practice, may register on a dedicated dGroup discussion list [1].

Conference announcement & programme
The Knowledge for Development: Global Partnership Conference will take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, 3-4 April 2017. Final draft of Conference Announcement: File:K4D Conference Programme.pdf. The conference is also announced on the Joint Inspection Unit of the United Nations website.
Throughout the Conference a Knowledge Market will be available where you may display on vertical boards and horizontal tables your materials and also organize informal encounters during breaks. All information on the knowledge market is available here.
Please help us organizing required display space by filling this sheet.
Conference registration
Participants must fill in the UN registration form which is available for automatic download as .docx here and as downloadable File:Conference Registration Form.pdf. The filled registration form should be sent as early as possible, not later than Wednesday 29 March 2017. Please see the instructions below for entering the venue. Instructions are available here File:UNOG instructions registration.pdf. Note you kindly requested to also fill the overall Geneva events registration sheet for both the KM4Dev April 2nd day KM4Dev2017Geneva and the 3-4 April Conference. This allows organizers to know the numbers of participants on site and those that wish to follow and interact online.
At the Palais des Nations (venue)
On the day of the conference, participants should go to the accreditation and security check area of the Pregny Gate entrance which faces the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) headquarters on the Route de Prégny. The office is open from 08:00-17:00hrs. Buses Z, V, F, 28 and 8 will take you to the gate (bus stop: Appia).
(don't forget to bring your copy and the photo!!!)Participants will present the original printed and signed copy of the registration form and a valid photo ID (Passport or National ID). As the waiting lines at the security check-points tend to be very long, in particular on Mondays, participants are kindly invited to come preferably one hour in advance of the start time. Participants are already preregistered in the security preregistration website just mention the name of the meeting and the badges will be provided.
