I'm trying to understand where my ideas go, once they leave my office... And you might be able to help me.
Those of you who were in Portugal last year might remember the network mapping method that I introduced on the first day. I would like to find out if any of you have had a closer look into it and used net-map in your work. It would be great if you could email me directly, indicating how and in which context you have used it and what your experience was.

Good question Eva! Sounds like you are interested in impact too ;-) Is impact assessment also interested in some kind of cost versus benefit analysis and looking into alternatives (comparison)?

We have used your Net-Map approach at the international farmers conference in Syria organized by ICARDA.
We used a simplified form of net-mapping to get across the conference objective: making the network more sustainable. We are now using that data to evaluate the project. It's been very useful to us, even though people got a little carried away during the exercise.
The conference used storytelling to gather farmers knowledge. We also produced short video stories that are being distributed virally among the farmers now.
Thank you for making your good work available.
